200 km away, about 2h30 by car. Wider international flight selection, including transatlantic via Rome or Munich. Practical if you're combining Puglia with a Rome or Naples leg.
From the north, A14 motorway to Bari, then the Bari–Lecce superstrada (SS16/SS613), and finally SS101 to Gallipoli. From Rome, A1 + A14 via Naples and Bari. Driving in is a good option if you want to explore Puglia's villages and coastline beyond Gallipoli.
Trenitalia and Italo high-speed trains reach Lecce (40 km from Gallipoli). From Lecce, regional trains continue to Gallipoli station (5 km from the apartment) and the seasonal Gallipoli Baia Verde stop (1.7 km). Renting a car on arrival is still recommended for flexibility.
A rental car is highly recommended. Public transport in Baia Verde is limited, especially evenings and weekends. All major rental companies operate at Brindisi and Bari airports.
Baia Verde beach is approximately 50 meters from the apartment, a 1-minute walk. Lido San Giovanni and Punta della Suina are within 1 km, and Punta Pizzo nature reserve is about 3 km south.

We do not provide airport transfers directly. We recommend renting a car at Brindisi or Bari airport — it gives you flexibility to explore the surrounding area, beaches and villages during your stay. Private taxi transfers are also available through local operators on request.
In July and August, the minimum stay is 7 nights. In other months (May, June, September, October) the minimum is 4 nights. For shorter stays outside peak season, feel free to ask — we can sometimes accommodate.
